Vascular Health

The APL is equipped to measure a number of common clinical tests of vascular function. In particular our most common outcome measures are flow mediated dilation (FMD) by brachial artery ultrasound, vascular stiffness via pulse wave velocity (PWV), doppler tissue-specific blood flow, and intima-media thickness of the carotid artery (IMT). These testing capabilities are supervised and directed by Dr. Bowman to provide a true, clinical assessment.
